How long have you attended? I started attending when I was born, and became a member when I was 15 or 16 years old.
What is the importance of faith in your life? It is something I have grown up with; it was instilled in me by my parents. I made the decision as a small child to be forgiven for my sins – what I had at that time – and never got away from that decision. I have never given up my faith in God – his hand upon my life has led me. When I look back I can see decisions I made, some poor, and God worked them out for good in my life.
How do you live out your faith? It comes as natural as breathing to me. I have been diagnosed with emphysema, so breathing sometimes is hard – sometimes my faith is hard. It dictates the way I think, the way I act, the way I raised my children. God gave me a little bit of talent and I try to use it in the church.
