• Name: Alicia Stampfli
• Age: 30
• Family: Husband, Joe; children, Savana, 5, Keith, 6 weeks old
• City of residence: Plumas Lake
• Occupation: Analyst for the state of California
• Hobbies, interests: Scrapbooking, jewelry making, spending time with my large family; and I would like to get back into running again.
• Where do you get your news? Plumas Lake Life, KCRA 3, Fox 40
• What keeps you in the Plumas Lake area? The nice, new schools and parks and the quiet and peaceful atmosphere keeps us in the Plumas Lake area.
• What aspects about the community attracted you here initially? Four years ago, when the housing prices in Sacramento were skyrocketing, I found Plumas Lake, so that was our initial draw, then it was the quiet community and being able to see the stars at night. We also found a home that we love everything about.
• Do you belong to any clubs or organizations in the community? I just started scrapbooking with a group here; it is nice to not have to drive to Sacramento to do what I love.
• If you were in charge, what would you change about the Plumas Lake community? Just like most, adding more retail to the area, at least a gas station and grocery store.
• What are your favorite places to go in Yuba-Sutter/Mid-Valley/Sacramento area? Pretty much anywhere that has good food
• If you were granted one wish, what would you wish for? I would wish for my dad back. He passed away five years ago when my daughter was a baby and I wish she had more time getting to know him.
• Favorite musical group: I love most music, with country being my favorite, but I also enjoy jazz, R&B and old-school pop, hip hop, old-school rap. I like a little of everything.
• Favorite television show: "American Idol," "Trading Spaces," "Dancing with the Stars," "So you think you can Dance?," and "Two and a Half Men"
• Favorite sports team: Sacramento Kings
• Whom do you most admire and why? I have always admired my mom and dad the most. How they raised four kids with good family values and how all four turned out pretty good still amazes me.
• Tell us about a life-changing experience: My biggest life-changing experiences were when both of my children were born. I am in awe with how you can unconditionally love a little person in such a short amount of time.
• What was your first job? Working at Chuck E. Cheese. No, I was not the rat. It was a great job, one of my most favorite. It was also great birth control, I didn't have children until well into my 20s; a job highly recommended for all teenagers.
• How would you describe yourself? Creative and laid back, for the most part.
• What kind of pets do you have? Dogs, Katie and Sasha
• What are your favorite foods? A good steak and baked potato or pizza.
