50th anniversary: Sizelove
Live Oak residents Steve and Sandy Sizelove, the former Sandra Hoch, are celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary, first with a luncheon hosted by their family Dec. 3 at Ruthy’s in Yuba City and later with a cruise from Montreal to Boston.
Guests at the recent celebration included friends who had traveled from Colorado and Las Vegas.
The couple were married Dec. 9, 1961, in Reno, Nev., and are lifelong Yuba-Sutter residents.
He retired as a captain with the Sutter County Sheriff’s Department. His hobbies include hunting and woodworking.
She retired as a supervisor from Harter Packing Company. Her pastimes include traveling and spending time at the family cabin.
They have three children, Skip and Greig of Live Oak and Kristie of Plumas Lake. Their family also includes eight grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
