60th Anniversary: Perry

Meridian residents Clyde and Betty Perry celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary with a luncheon hosted by their children.
She is the former Betty Burtis.
The couple were married Nov. 20, 1951, in Reno, Nev., and are longtime Yuba-Sutter residents – he grew up in Sutter and she in Meridian.
Both are graduates of Sutter Union High School.
He retired from the Yuba City Public Works Department and played baseball for the Marysville Giants.
She is a homemaker.
They have four children, Steve Perry, Gail Littrell and Tim Perry, all of Yuba City, and Karen Bertnatchez of Waterville, Maine.
Their family also includes six grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
