Air Force Airman Steven J. Rowland graduated from basic military training at Lackland Air Force Base, San Antonio, Texas.
The son of Steve Rowland of Yuba City, he is a 2009 graduate of River Valley High School in Yuba City.

Army Pvt. Andrew H. McCleary graduated from basic combat training at Fort Jackson, Columbia, S.C.
The son of Michael McCleary of Wheatland, he is a 2008 graduate of Wheatland High School.

Aaron R. Dodd, a 2010 graduate of Sutter Union High School, has entered basic cadet training at the U.S. Air Force Academy, Colorado Springs, Colo., in preparation to enter the first academic year at the academy.He is the son of Robert and Rhea Dodd of Meridian.
