50th Anniversary: Pfannkuch

Yuba City residents Kurt and Eivor Pfannkuch, the former Eivor Nilsson, celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary with a weekend cruise to Tallinn, Estonia, while spending the summer in Sweden.

The cruise with family and friends was hosted by the couple's daughters and their families

The couple were married Aug. 4, 1962, in Ovanaker, Sweden, and have been Yuba-Sutter residents for 40 years.

They have lived in various cities throughout his career with the US Air Force until his last assignment to Beale Air Force Base.

He retired from the Air Force in 1984 and the California Department of Corrections in 2002.

She has been a sales director with Mary Kay Cosmetics for 38 years.

They have two daughters, Karin Dorey of McKinney, Texas, and Kristina Jonsall of Huddinge, Sweden; and four grandchildren.
