Wedding: Anderson/Gillaspie

Olivehurst residents Melissa Anderson and James Gillaspie were married July 27 at her aunt’s home in Plumas Lake. Robert Mull officiated.

A reception was held at the same location.

The bride is the daughter of Lester and Annette Oswald of Olivehurst and Mike and Grace Mull of Marysville. She was attended by Michelle Gillaspie of Olivehurst as maid of honor.

Attendants also included Brooklynn Gillaspie and Jordan Mull, both of Olivehurst, as a flower girl and ring bearer, respectively.

The bride is a 1995 graduate of Lindhurst High School. She works for the Marysville Joint Unified School District as a para-educator at Linda Latchkey and is working toward an associate’s degree in early childhood education at Yuba College.

The groom is the son of Patricia Alexander of Olivehurst and the late John Gillaspie. He was attended by Johnny Anderson of Olivehurst as best man.

The groom is a 1991 graduate of Lindhurst High School and works for Anderson Truss as a supervisor.

The couple honeymooned in Las Vegas.
