30th Anniversary: Burke
Yuba City residents Loretta and Jack W. Burke Jr. celebrated their 30th wedding anniversary with family at lunch at Thunder Valley Casino.
They also had a swimming pool built in their yard as their anniversary gift.
She is the former Loretta Barnes.
The couple were married Dec. 19, 1981, in Golden, Colo., and have been Yuba-Sutter residents for eight years.
Their former residences have included Valley Center and Colleyville, Texas.
He is a retired civil engineer and a graduate of Texas A&M University.
She is retired after working for American Airlines. She is a graduate of the University of North Texas.
They have three children, Diana Burke-Knapp of Yuba City, Jack W. Burke III of Austin, Texas, and Lora Hebert of Phoenix, Ariz.; and four grandchildren.
