Occupation: I work at Linda's Soda Bar and Grill in Yuba City.

Hobbies, interests: I go to the gym and am training for the Navy SEALs — the tryouts are in March. I enlisted in the Navy.

Where do you get your news? From my mom; she works at Beale Air Force Base.

What brought you to the Yuba-Sutter area? We came here from Sacramento 10 years ago.

What do you like about the Yuba-Sutter area? Ellis Lake, aside from it being dirty. I like the lake in the center of town. And you don't have to drive far to do something.

Where would you like to retire to someday? The center of the United States — the land is cheaper and I want a farm when I retire.

What is the closest you've been to a famous person? I've carried quite a few — I've been to a lot of concerts and they (the musicians) like to do crowd surfing. I also met the singer from Tesla at a motorcycle shop.

What would you do with a million dollars? Buy my ranch and buy my mom a house.

Where is your dream vacation? Jamaica.

Who has had a strong influence in your life? My mom — she always told me to try my best.

Do you have a favorite memory to share? Riding my dirt bike in Southern California — It was dark and cloudy, there was the first smell of rain and the sun coming through the clouds.

What did you want to be when you were a kid? I wanted to be in the military.

What would you like to see different in the community? I'd like to see the State Theater in downtown Marysville get torn down. And tear down bad housing.

What is your pet peeve? When people say they're going to do something and don't.
