• What keeps you in the Yuba-Sutter area? My job. But we love being out in Plumas Lake and love the people here. We love our neighborhood.

• If you were granted one wish, what would you wish for? To be debt-free

• Whom do you most admire and why? My husband, because he is a great man of character
• Tell us about a life-changing experience: I had a car accident and had back surgery. Physically, I can't do what I used to do.
• What was your first job? I was in the radio business at age 15.
• How would you describe yourself? Talkative, eneregetic, unsually optimistic
• What kind of pets do you have? We own a monster yellow lab that is 100 pounds, a small yellow lab mutt, an ornate wood turtle, a cat and two dozen goldfish in our pond.
• What are your favorite places to go in Yuba-Sutter/Mid-Valley/Sacramento area? It will eventually be my back yard, but for now it is my front yard.
• What is your favorite part of the job? I love encouraging other people.
• What are some of your fondest memories? Marrying my husband and having my children.
• If you were in charge, what would you change about the community? I would try to inspire more pride — not just individual pride. We need more community pride.
• Favorite book: The Bible
• Favorite movie: "The Haunting," because of the fabulous architecture
• What is your worst fear? Losing my family
• If you could be transported in a time machine where would you want to go? I would love to be back in old South when girls wore big dresses. I would be a southern belle, but only if had a lot of money. I would dress well.
