Hobbies, interests: I love playing sports and staying active.

Where do you get your news? Mostly ESPN's "Sportscenter" or through the Internet.

What brought you to the Yuba-Sutter area? My stepdad was looking for work, and this area was full of it.

If you could live anywhere in the world, where would it be? Hawaii, because of the beautiful landscape and the fact that you can do just about anything there and there really isn't a limit to the fun.

Tell us about a life-changing experience: When I was 13, I snapped my femur (the longest, hardest bone in your body) in half. I have never fully recovered, because as soon as I come back, I acquire yet another injury.

What is your favorite/least favorite subject in school? My favorite subject so far has been human anatomy and physiology, but my least favorite was probably pre-calculus.

Favorite places in the area? I love going paintballing, bowling and to the movies.

What is your dream job? I want to be a physical therapist.

Do you belong to any clubs or organizations in the community? I am a board member with Azzurri Soccer Club and a member of the Teen Leadership Council through Fremont-Rideout Foundation.

What are some of your fondest memories? Most of my fondest memories are with my old soccer team, like when we went up to Medford, Ore., for a tournament and we all had a blast.

What kinds of things make you laugh? Stand-up comedy, movies, people just being silly — just funny stuff in general.

What would you change about the community? I would build a large sports complex.

What was the last good book you read? "The Three Musketeers" by Alexandre Dumas.

What is your worst fear? Having the power go out while I'm home alone at night.
