What brought you to the Yuba-Sutter area? My ex-husband! I've been here for 23 years.
What do you like about the Yuba-Sutter area? Bridgeport, and I like history, so this is a great area. We've gone over the pioneer trail in the Yuba County foothills and seen the historical markers placed by the Clampers.
What's kept you here? Kids need to grow up in one area.
Where would you like to settle down someday? No idea. It depends on where my kids wind up.
What is the closest you've been to a famous person? I met all of the people from "WKRP in Cincinnati" at a parade when I lived in Riverside.
What would you do with a million dollars? Put money away for my kids, and buy a car for myself.
Do you have a favorite memory you would like to share? When the four of us stylists — me, Pam Brocker, Ericka Lee and Diane Harrison — went to a hair show in San Jose three years ago. I took the girls to Morton's Steakhouse and we had a $300-plus dinner. It was a great evening.
What did you want to be when you were a kid? A teacher for the handicapped. I was a teacher's aide in school.
What is your dream job? This is it, making people feel beautiful about themselves.
What is your pet peeve? Drivers who go through stop signs or go too fast through our parking lot.
What are you best known for? Being supportive of schools. It's important for kids to get an education.
