Sucha S. Ark
Sucha Singh Ark, 83, of Yuba City died March 26, 2007, at Rideout Memorial Hospital.
Born in Punjab, India, he was a Yuba-Sutter resident for 36 years.
He was a farmer.
Survivors include his wife, Preeto Ark of Yuba City; two sons, Santokh Ark and Pakhar Ark, both of Yuba City; four daughters, Gurpal Cheema and Surinder Kaur, both of Sacramento, Darshan Kaur of Stockton and Dusmesh Atwal of San Jose; a brother, Bakhtawar Ark of India; 22 grandchildren; and 25 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a son, Kulwinder Ark; and two brothers, Kabal Ark and Gurshran Ark.
Services: Prayer services begin at noon Saturday at Ullrey Memorial Chapel, 817 Almond St. in Yuba City. Giani Gurbachan Singh of the Bogue Road Sikh Temple will officiate. Final prayers and cremation follow at the chapel's crematory.
