Letter: Herger on Federal Reserve audit?

Comments 0 | Recommend 0

Could somebody please explain to me why Rep. Wally Herger has not co-sponsored H.R. 1207, a bill that would require an audit of the Federal Reserve?

With the mismanagement of the recent bailouts, is it too much for the people to ask for an audit of this most “un-federal” of agencies?

Wally Herger could care less if you or I were to be audited but, for some reason, declines to state why the Federal Reserve should be above such scrutiny.

At this time, there are 58 co-sponsors in Congress supporting this bill. However, our congressman has gone AWOL on this matter. Just whom does Herger represent?

Yes, the volume of mail has gone down enough that they can handle it out of West Sacramento.
No, there will definitely be delays.
I'll wait and see.
