Truman A. Bae, 101, of Yuba City died March 1, 2007, at his residence.
Born in Los Angeles, he was a Yuba-Sutter resident since 1930.
He worked as a Marysville police sergeant for 26 years.
He was a high priest of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
Survivors include a son, Owen Bae of Orem, Utah; 10 grandchildren; and 20 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Lela Bae; and a son, Warren Bae.
Services: A funeral service is scheduled at 1 p.m. Thursday at Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 1470 Butte House Road, Yuba City. Burial will follow at Sutter Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Ullrey Memorial Chapel in Yuba City.
