Pets of the Week: 2 Great Danes want homes
Our Pets of the Week, Fred and Barney, are friendly Great Dane or Newfoundland and Labrador retriever mixes, about 1 year old. When they first arrived at the shelter, they were so scared that they would not come out of their kennel. However, all it takes is some time, patience and treats for them to warm up to you. These two sweethearts need someone who is willing to show them what it means to be a part of a family. They need training and confidence, but they have sweet temperaments, and we know that, with some time, they will be the best boys around. Please visit Barney and Fred today and take home two diamonds in the rough. If you'd like to adopt Fred and Barney, please visit the Sutter Animal Services shelter at 102 Second St., Yuba City, or call 822-7375. Barney's ID number is A100310, and Fred's is A100312.
Tia, the 3-to-4-year-old pit bull mix, Cali, the 21⁄2-year-old pit bull mix, Peaches, the 1-year-old pit bull mix, and Ash, the 2-year-old Domestic Shorthair cat, are still in foster care with ResQpaws. Clover, the domestic medium hair cat, is still at the Yuba City PetSmart. They're all spayed females looking for homes. All other pets of the week have found homes.
