49ers baseball falls to Solano

Visiting Solano came around to score three times in the seventh inning to hand the Yuba College baseball team a 5-2 Bay Valley Conference loss Friday afternoon at Gary Engelken Field in Linda.
"Solano's pretty good," Yuba coach Tim Gloyd said. "They put pressure on us and we couldn't handle it."
Brennan Alejo went 2 for 4, Zak Morgan finished 2 for 3 and Chris Stocker belted a double to lead the way for the 49ers (6-7, 2-2).
Tyler Osborne stuck out six batters in 6 2⁄3 innings to suffer the loss for Yuba, which will travel to play Mendocino today at 1 p.m.
