Letter: ‘Silver linings' seen in latest gun bill

I just got one of those e-mail forwards from some gun-nut friends about HR 45.
The bill, which would require a federal license for all handguns and semiautomatics, has been put forward by Democratic Congressman Bobby Rush of Illinois.
Check it out - it’s a total licensing bill the Politburo would be proud of.
It does not have a snowball’s chance in hell of passing.
It will, however, push gun and ammunition sales to the moon - not to mention the black market.
So, my libertarian friends, you see there are silver linings.
