Letter: Time to get animal shelter deal done

In reference to Beckie Jennings' Talk Back comment: I am behind her 100 percent. Enough is enough, so many excuses one after another. How many more animals do we euthanize?

Why? It seems that everything was a go and another political fight. Like everything else in this community, there is always an agenda.

It is unbelievable that eight years have come and gone, and now there is a concern of shelter employees being transferred from county to city employ, and this is what's holding this up ... blah, blah, blah.

These joint powers of authority did not have this figured out.

Per Supervisor Jim Whiteaker ... this doesn't happen overnight, you think! Another eight years wasted.

What a waste of time and taxpayer money.

Get this done.
