FELONY ARRESTS

• Georgeanne Marlene Bates, 60, of the 8700 block of La Porte Road, Brownsville, was arrested by the Yuba County Sheriff's Department at 10:30 p.m. Dec. 19 at her residence on suspicion of shooting at a dwelling. She was booked into Yuba County Jail.

• Stephen Eugene Gilbert Jr., 34, of the 2800 block of Hammonton-Smartville Road, Yuba County, was arrested by the Yuba County Sheriff's Department at 6 p.m. Dec. 19 at the department on suspicion of burglary. He was booked into Yuba County Jail.

• Adolfo Ramirez, 33, of the 4100 block of Feather River Boulevard, Olivehurst, was arrested by the Yuba County Sheriff's Department at 6:54 p.m. Dec. 19 at the department on suspicion of cruelty to a child. He was booked into Yuba County Jail.

• Charles Joseph Steel, 55, of the first block of Third Street, Marysville, was arrested by the Marysville Police Department at 4:09 p.m. Dec. 19 at his residence on susicion of corporal injury to spouse or cohabitant. He was booked into Yuba County Jail.

DRIVING UNDER THE INFLUENCE ARRESTS

• Donald Charles Carter, 28, of the 300 block of Colusa Lane, Stonyford, was arrested by the California Highway Patrol at 6:14 p.m. Dec. 19 on Ladoga-Stonyford Road west of Squaw Creek. He was booked into Colusa County Jail.
