FELONY ARRESTS

• Donovan Lawrence Downing, 21, of the 1000 block of Arthur Street, Marysville, was arrested by the Yuba County Sheriff's Department at 11:56 a.m. July 5 in the 5900 block of Lowe Avenue on suspicion of assault with a non-firearm deadly weapon causing great bodily injury. He was booked into Yuba County Jail.

• Jeffery Allen Thompson, 40, of the 1400 block of Upland Drive, Yuba City, was arrested by the Yuba City Police Department at 8:15 a.m. July 5 at his residence on suspicion of making terrorist threats. He was booked into Sutter County Jail.

• Yvonne Renae Desa, 27, of the 1400 block of Youngs Lane, Yuba City, was arrested by the Yuba City Police Department at 7:58 p.m. July 4 in the 1600 block of Nadean Drive on suspicion of damaging a telephone or electrical line. She was booked into Sutter County Jail.

• Charles Michael Allison, 33, of the 9800 block of Q Street, Live Oak, was arrested by the Yuba City Police Department at 6 p.m. July 4 at C and Boyd streets on suspicion of possession of a controlled substance. He was booked into Sutter County Jail.

DRIVING UNDER THE INFLUENCE ARRESTS

• Timothy Wayne Hockenberry, 48, of Madrone Street, Sutter, was arrested by the Yuba City Police Department at 4:12 a.m. July 5 at King Avenue and Live Oak Boulevard. He was booked into Sutter County Jail.

• Rogelio Reyes Mender, 22, of Newark, was arrested by the California Highway Patrol at 1:03 a.m. July 5 at Riego Road and Highway 99. He was booked into Sutter County Jail.

• Ashley Lynn Stresser, 27, of the 1500 block of Portola Drive, Yuba City, was arrested by the California Highway Patrol at 6:36 p.m. July 4 on Railroad Avenue north of Barry Road. She was booked into Sutter County Jail.
