Police Blotter: Aug. 20, 2008

FELONY ARRESTS

• Veronica Perez, 27, of the 1200 block of Northgate Drive, Yuba City, was arrested by the Yuba City Police Department at 1:30 p.m. Aug. 17 at her residence on suspicion of spousal abuse. She was booked into Sutter County Jail.

• Chad Duwayne Stevens, 31, of Roseville, was arrested by the Yuba County Sheriff's Department at 7:15 p.m. Aug. 17 at Camp Far West and Spenceville roads on suspicion of possession of a firearm by a felon, carrying a concealed weapon and possession of narcotics. He was booked into Yuba County Jail.

• Dennis Curtis Smith, 46, of the 4700 block of Pacific Avenue, Olivehurst, was arrested by the Yuba County Sheriff's Department at 9 p.m. Aug. 17 at Rideout Memorial Hospital, Marysville, on suspicion of criminal threats. He was booked into Yuba County Jail.

• Jesus Romero Hernandez, 26, of the 100 block of Westgate Road, Williams, was arrested by the Williams Police Department at 10:06 p.m. Aug. 16 at 12th and E streets on suspicion of possessing a controlled substance and transporting a controlled substance with intent to sell. He was booked into Colusa County Jail.

• Jose Guadalupe Moreno, 23, no address listed, was arrested by the Colusa County Sheriff's Department at 7:30 p.m. Aug. 16 in the 300 block of Bradford Street, Arbuckle, on suspicion of obstructing a peace officer. He was booked into Colusa County Jail.

• David Raul Quigley, 28, of the 2700 block of Allen Street, Live Oak, was arrested by the Sutter County Sheriff's Department at 7:27 a.m. Aug. 19 at his residence on suspicion of possession of a controlled substance. He was booked into Sutter County Jail.

• Andrew Scott Miller, 20, of the 1100 block of Willow Glen Drive, Yuba Ctiy, was arrested by the Yuba City Police Department at 1:03 a.m. Aug. 19 in the 900 block of Gray Avenue on suspicion of possesion of a controlled substance and possession of PCP for sale. He was booked into Sutter County Jail.

• Gary William Jetton, 45, of Rio Oso, was arrested by the Sutter County Sheriff's Department at 10:50 a.m. Aug. 18 at his residence on suspicion of grand theft and credit card theft. He was booked into Sutter County Jail.

DRIVING UNDER THE INFLUENCE ARRESTS

• Jesus Chavez, 34, of Live Oak, was arrested by the Sutter County Sheriff's Department at 7:58 p.m. Aug. 17 at Kent and Bridgeford avenues. He was booked into Sutter County Jail.

• Raul Alonzo Servin, 21, of the 1300 block of Kean Avenue, Yuba City, was arrested by the Yuba City Police Department at 12:15 p.m. Aug. 17 at B and Plumas streets. He was booked into Sutter County Jail.

• Sheila Marie Hill, 35, of the 4400 block of Ardmore Avenue, Olivehurst, was arrested by the California Highway Patrol at 9:45 a.m. Aug. 17 at her residence. She was booked into Yuba County Jail.

• Joseph Esperanza Martinez, 36, of the 1700 block of Linda Avenue, Linda, was arrested by the California Highway Patrol at 7:50 p.m. Aug. 17 at his residence. He was booked into Yuba County Jail.

• Jesus Garcia, 32, of Live Oak, was arrested by the Marysville Police Department at 9:32 p.m. Aug. 17 at Covillaud and East 13 streets. He was booked into Yuba County Jail.

• Joseph Steven Bowers, 24, of the 400 block of Vasto Drive, Williams, was arrested by the California Highway Patrol at 2 a.m. Aug. 17 on Abel Road east of Husted Road. He was booked into Colusa County Jail.

• Francisco Mateo Garcia, 30, of the 1700 block of Highway 20, Colusa, was arrested by the California Highway Patrol at 7:31 p.m. Aug. 15 on old Highway 99W south of Bailey Road, Arbuckle. He was booked into Colusa County Jail.
