FELONY ARRESTS
• Joseph Lamb, 57, of Sheridan, was arrested by the Wheatland Police Department at 1:16 p.m. Aug. 27 in the 500 block of McDevitt Drive on suspicion of possession of nunchaku. He was booked into Yuba County Jail.
• Kimberly Ann Goodman, 42, of the 18100 block of Challenge Cutoff Road, Yuba County, was arrested by the Yuba County Sheriff's Department at 10:15 a.m. Aug. 27 at the department on suspicion of fraud to obtain aid. She was booked into Yuba County Jail.
• Darren Dwayne Chaney, 27, of the 200 block of Woodbridge Avenue, Yuba City, was arrested by the Yuba City Police Department at 11:40 p.m. Aug. 27 in the 1900 block of Live Oak Boulevard on suspicion of corporal injury to spouse. He was booked into Sutter County Jail.
• Robert Warren Phinney, 26, of Bakersfield, was arrested by the Sutter County Sheriff's Department at 8 p.m. Aug. 27 at the Quality Inn, 4228 Highway 99, on suspicion of receiving known stolen property and burglary. He was booked into Sutter County Jail.
• Carlos Chavez, 28, of the first block of Dorman Avenue, Yuba City, was arrested by the Yuba City Police Department at 6:57 p.m. Aug. 27 at Woodbridge and Percy avenues on suspicion of possession of a controlled substance. He was booked into Sutter County Jail.
• Heston James Medford, 40, of the 700 block of Kiley Avenue, Yuba City, was arrested by the Yuba City Police Department at 2:30 p.m. Aug. 26 at his residence on suspicion of vandalism and assault with a deadly weapon other than a firearm. He was booked into Sutter County Jail.
DRIVING UNDER THE INFLUENCE ARRESTS
• George Edward Scully, 54, of the 800 block of Frederick Street, Yuba City, was arrested by the Yuba City Police Department at 8:30 p.m. Aug. 27 at Bridge and Shasta streets. He was booked into Sutter County Jail.
• Javier Banales Maldonado, 28, of Pittsburg, was arrested by the Sutter County Sheriff's Department at 2 p.m. Aug. 27 at the department. He was booked into Sutter County Jail.
• Joana Gayle Ferguson, 42, of the 6800 block of Dodge Road, Princeton, was arrested by the California Highway Patrol at 2:58 p.m. Aug. 27 on Maxwell-Colusa Road. She was booked into Colusa County Jail.
