Police Blotter: Aug. 16, 2008

FELONY ARRESTS

• Darnell Edwin Erby, 30, of Sacramento, was arrested by the Sutter County Sheriff's Department at 6:30 p.m. Aug. 14 in the 6900 block of Garden Highway on suspicion of receiving stolen property and burglary. He was booked into Sutter County Jail.

• Fernando Mauricio Nieto, 20, of the 5800 block of Carson Road, Yuba City, was arrested by the Yuba City Police Department at 5:15 p.m. Aug. 14 in the 2000 block of Butte House Road on suspicion of hit and run. He was booked into Sutter County Jail.

• Sandra Monique Alcala, 20, of Roseville, was arrested by the Sutter County Sheriff's Department at 6:30 p.m. Aug. 14 in the 6900 block of Garden Highway on suspicion of receiving stolen property and burglary. He was booked into Sutter County Jail.

• Stacy Antionette Little, 23, of the 900 block of Cooper Avenue, Yuba City, was arrested by the Yuba City Police Department at 2:30 p.m. Aug. 14 at Maple Street and Colusa Avenue on suspicion of transportation of methamphetamine, possession of a controlled substance and possession of concentrated cannabis. She was booked into Sutter County Jail.

• Jayne Elizabeth McCarckin, 44, of Rio Linda, was arrested by the Yuba City Police Department at 2:30 p.m. Aug. 14 in the 800 block of Colusa Avenue on suspicion of embezzlement. She was booked into Sutter County Jail.

DRIVING UNDER THE INFLUENCE ARRESTS

• Blair Sanford Smith, 50, of the 1400 block of Knights Row, Yuba City, was arrested by the Sutter County Sheriff's Department at 1:40 a.m. Aug. 15 at Highway 20 and El Margarita Road. He was booked into Sutter County Jail.
