• What brought you to the Yuba-Sutter area? I grew up in Loma Rica, moved to Yuba City when I was 10 and my parents divorced.

• What keeps you in the Yuba-Sutter area? Getting my general ed out of the way at Yuba College, and my family. I'm hoping to transfer to a school in San Diego in a few years.

• Favorite television show: "The Office" and "Big Brother," and I really liked "Melrose Place" reruns.

• Favorite sports team: Yuba City Honkers. I don't have a favorite pro sports team.

• What was your first job? Walked dogs for about a year, for a neighbor. Also a receptionist at Heritage House realty.

• Can you tell us about a life-changing experience? When my brother Billy got cancer, I had to visit the children's ward in Sacramento and it was really emotional.

• What are your favorite places to go? Target, now Forever 21, the movies, the Galleria in Roseville

• What is your dream job? Working for a magazine company, being a writer or even in advertising

• What are some of your fondest memories? Traveling with my grandmother. She took me to New York for my graduation. We had a blast.

• What are your favorite foods? Any good sandwich, like Mr. Pickles, the one with cranberry and turkey. Biscuits and gravy.

• Favorite movie: "Encino Man"

• What makes you laugh? Everything. Will Ferrell

• Favorite quote? "If you never have, you should. These things are fun, and fun is good." — Dr. Seuss
