• What brought you to the Yuba-Sutter area? Born and raised here

• What keeps you in the Yuba-Sutter area? My family. I moved to Santa Rosa to attend Santa Rosa Junior College but I missed the area and came back to finish at Yuba College.

• What is the closest you've been to a famous person? I met the Rev. Jesse Jackson while a student at Santa Rosa Junior College in 1996. I was in student government and he came to the campus to give a talk.

• If you were granted one wish, what would you wish for? For my family to be happy and healthy.

• Favorite musical group: All kinds of music — I really like Nickelback and Jason Mraz.

• Favorite television show: "The Office" and "Desperate Housewives"

• Favorite sports team: My son's soccer team, the Marysville Lightning

• Who do you most admire and why? My mom, Terri, because she overcame many obstacles and succeeded.

• What was your first job? I worked at Carl's Jr. in Marysville.

• How would you describe yourself? Outgoing and I like to have a lot of fun.

• What kind of pets do you have? A dog named Miley Coco.

• What are your favorite places to go in the Mid-Valley area? We like to go camping in La Porte

• What is your dream job? To be a party planner.

• What is one of your fondest childhood memories? Having birthday parties at CalSkate as a child in Yuba City.

• If you were in charge, what would you change about the community? They need to make more places to have winter birthday parties.

• Who is your favorite author? Stephenie Meyer and the Twilight series. I plan to see the movie.
