Air quality district issues wood-burning advisory
The Feather River Air Quality Management District asked Yuba-Sutter residents on Thursday to cease burning in wood stoves and fireplaces due to poor air quality.
The district said if residents must use a wood burning device, make sure your fire is burning hot and clean. Check your chimney and avoid smoking out your neighborhood.
