Letter: Construction in the Buttes should stop

I believe the construction in the Sutter Buttes should stop. If you really want a house up there, it should have to be a working ranch. We should protect this beautiful, in my opinion, landmark. If you ask me, I believe the Sutter Buttes should be protected just like Yosemite National Park. After all, it is the smallest mountain range in the world. If we keep building on the Buttes, it will just look like a house mountain. It will be nothing but buildings. If that happens, where will people go for a quiet, peaceful drive?
