Fellows program seeks applicants
Application forms are available for the Capital Fellows Programs through the Center for California Studies at Sacramento State University.
Prospective applicants can submit applications for California Senate Fellows, Executive Fellowship Program, Jesse M. Unruh Assembly Fellowship Program or the Judicial Administration Fellowship Program.
Applicants must have bachelor's degree by Sept. 1 and have a demonstrated interest in state government and public service.
The deadline to apply is Feb. 11.

Scholarship open to students
College students and graduating high school seniors in California are eligible to apply for scholarships through the Friends of the California State Fair.
A total of 27 scholarships will be presented in several areas including agriculture, animal science, event planning, international studies, viticulture and past exhibitors to the California State Fair.
Scholarship applications are available online at bigfun.org and can be mailed to P.O. Box 15649, Sacramento, CA 95852; or delivered to Cal Expo Exposition administration, 1600 Exposition Blvd., Sacramento.

The 2013 California State Fair will be held from July 12 to 28 in Sacramento.
