Airman Christopher J. Cardenas
Airman Christopher J. Cardenas is the son of Raul and Georgina Cardenas of Arbuckle and George and Kathy Savala of Woodland.
He is brother to Raul Jr. and Sergio Cardenas and Nichole Clark, all of Arbuckle, and to Patresa Sloan of Woodland.
He is the grandson of Pedro and Maria Cardenas of Yolo and Doreen Morgan of Woodland. He is the great- grandson of Barbara Mahoney of Woodland.
Cardenas attended Pierce High School and was active in football, track and field and the FFA. Cardenas graduated in June 2006 and joined the United States Air Force in June 2008.
His hobby was breeding Indian ringneck parrots. He built it into a business which his father continues to care for.
Cardenas completed his basic training and Security Forces training at Lackland AFB, San Antonio, Texas. He is stationed at Incirlik Air Base, Turkey.
