Letter: Obamacare better late than never

Obamacare, Romney's Massachusetts' Care, Dole Care, and Nixon Care are all pretty much the same: they all would use the government and the private sector to deliver health care to everyone. Sen. Ted Kennedy's biggest regret was that the Senate didn't take Nixon up on his health care offer.

Nixon's plan would have alleviated the suffering and anxiety of millions. Obamacare is going to do that now, a half century later. Better late than never.
