Letter: Editorial cartoon found offensive

I was greatly offended by the Sept. 24 political cartoon “The Fox News Target Audience.”  Quite interesting is the fact that the “cartoonist” works for MSNBC.  There is always a place for “Other Views,” but outright slander is inexcusable. 

How about something similar showing MSNBC’s target audience? Perhaps, “Effete Liberals sipping white wine while blabbing “Nazis, mobs, racist, Bush is the devil, blah, blah, blah...’” The Appeal-Democrat should hold itself to a higher standard than The New York Times or the Sac Bee.
