Mallard Lake Golf Center

Mallard fills a niche in the community as a short, inexpensive, nine-hole course with a large driving range.

Mallard has the potential to be a great practice facility but there's cost of upkeep apparently is prohibitiive. The grass hitting areas are patchy and the balls are well worn. 

The course itself is easy to get on and play nine in under 2 hours, but be prepared to see plenty of beginners and blue jeans on the course.

It’s a flat track with mostly straight holes, but that’s not to say it’s easy to score low. The fairways are tight with plenty of out of bounds, be it water or adjacent fields or even a few backyards, and the greens are small and fast, especially in the summer.

The course is notorious for getting very dry in the summer.
