Three Cheers: Seniors legal center a big help

Comments 0 | Recommend 0

This letter is written in praise and appreciation of the staff of the Yuba-Sutter Legal Center for Seniors 725 D Street, Marysville, CA 95901, 742-8289.

I recently had a need for assistance in a matter that had been festering for some 18 months. Although I had been somewhat timid about asking for help, I finally resolved to contact the center for help. My fears were quickly resolved, however,  Upon entering the center, I was warmly greeted by Rita, the receptionist, who quickly determined that the center could be of help to me.

Throughout my contact with these fine people, I was treated with caring and great respect. This service is rendered with little or no cost the seniors.

I am happy to report that my legal problem was resolved to my satisfaction through a judgment that was rendered by the Yuba County Small Claims Court.

For the seniors in this community who are not aware of the Yuba-Sutter Legal Center for Seniors, feel free to contact the center for help. If the center is unable to render help for your problem, they can quickly refer you to other resources for help.

Thank you, thank you, dear ladies of the Yuba-Sutter Legal Center for Seniors for your dedication to serving seniors.

PAY HIKE?
What should the board of trustees do with the proposed $29,282 pay raise for Chancellor Nicki Harrington?
Rescind it. Now is not the time.
Give it to her. She should be compensated fairly and competitively.
