What do you like about the area? I like downtown Marysville and Yuba City.

Hobbies, interests: I play a lot of video games, go to the theater, watch videos.

Where do you get your news? Mostly Appeal-Democrat.

What brought you to the Yuba-Sutter area? Born in Yuba City.

Where would you like to live someday? Maybe San Francisco or Los Angeles.

What is the closest you've been to a famous person? I was working at Verizon in Emeryville when (actor) Danny Glover came in. I was the greeter and directed him to the right area.

What would you do with a million dollars? Give a little to charity, a little to family and buy myself a house in Hawaii.

What is your dream vacation? Backpacking in Europe, mostly Italy and Spain.

Favorite memory to share? Christmases with family — aunts, uncles, cousins.

Who has had a strong influence in your life? My mother — she raised us pretty much by herself.

What did you want to be when you were a kid? A policeman.

Favorite places to visit? Sacramento or San Francisco — just to walk around Chinatown.

What is your dream job? A bakery chef, having my own little shop.

What would you like to see different in the community? Less violence, safer driving, safer streets — it doesn't take so much to slow down.

Favorite book: One that stuck with me was "The Hound of the Baskervilles."

What is your pet peeve? People who chew with their mouth open.

What do you like about yourself? I give everybody a chance.
