Navy E-2 Benjamin Thomas Chance

U.S. Navy E-2 Benjamin Chance is the son of Kimberly Miller of Middleton, Ohio, and Lonnie Chance of Marysville. He is also the brother to Tim, Andrew and Steven, all of Marysville.

Chance attended Marysville High School and was active in wrestling, cross country and track. He graduated in June 2008 and joined the Navy. Chance attended recruit training at Greatlakes, Ill. He completed tech school at Naval Submarine Base, Groton, Conn., in communications and he is currently attending "A" school at the same location.

Chance is scheduled to graduate in August when he will be assigned to a nuclear submarine as an electronics technician.
