Community of Faith Briefs: God's chosen people is topic at Grace Baptist
Pat Neff of "Friends of Israel" is the guest speaker Sunday at Grace Baptist Church, 1980 S. Walton Ave., Yuba City.
He will talk at 10:30 a.m. about "A Passion for God's Chosen People" and at 6 p.m. about "The Secret of Jewish Perseverance."

Crossroads hosts wild game dinner
Buffalo, squirrel and alligator are part of the menu at the 21st Annual Wild Game Feed hosted by Crossroads Community Church, 445 B St., Yuba City.
Set Jan. 28, the event starts at 6 p.m. with guest speaker Joe Smith, U.S. boxing coach at the 2008 Beijing Olympics.
Dinner, at 8 p.m., also includes deer, salmon and duck. The dinner is free.
Church members are asked to bring two side dishes, such as salad or dessert, to share.

Comedy, concert planned Feb. 10
A night of comedy and dinner and a free concert are among the activities planned in February at Crossroads Community Church in Yuba City.
Christian comedian Nazareth is featured in the Crossroads Comedy Banquet at 7 p.m. Feb. 10. A family-style dinner will be served. Tickets are $10 for reserved seats.
Claude and Connie Hopper are performing at 7 p.m. Feb. 19. Admission is free.
