What keeps you in the Yuba-Sutter area? The church and family.
What's your favorite part about the area? The church and the school — I'm here all the time.
What is your dream vacation? I would love to take a Disney cruise with my grandkids.
What would you do with a million dollars? I'd like a larger home to host events where more people could attend. I like being around people.
What is the closest you've been to a famous person? We had Neil Armstrong at our home for breakfast. We were at Cape Canaveral in Florida. I was in the first or second grade.
If you were granted one wish, what would you wish for? That everyone know Jesus Christ as their savior.

Tell us about a significant event in your life: When I became a Christian in 1972.
What did you want to be when you were a kid? A teacher.
What are some of your fondest memories? Every year I've attended our school's senior class trip as an adviser.
What would you like to see different in the community? The completion of Lord's Gym that we're working on now. It will be available for students.
