Community of Faith: Talks topic is the end of the earth

The Seventh-day Adventist Church in Dobbins is presenting a series of talks beginning Sunday on preparing for the last days of earth and the pending return of Jesus Christ.
Pastor Warren Muir will speak on "Human Suffering: Why?" at the first meeting. Future talks, all at 7 p.m., with other topics are set daily Oct. 1-3 and Oct. 6-10.
Additional talks are at 11 a.m. Oct. 6 and 13.

Lutherans offer Bible study course
Shepherd of the Valley Lutheran Church is hosting a Bible study course at 6:30 p.m. every Wednesday, open to the public.
Persons interested in what Lutherans believe and teach are invited to attend the free introductory course "Lutheranism 101." Free will offerings will be accepted for the book cost.

The Annual Fall Rummage Sale is set from 8 a.m.-2 p.m. Saturday at the Arbuckle United Methodist Church.
