Adventists host series on Daniel
The Yuba City Seventh-day Adventist Church is hosting "Unsealing Daniel's Mysteries," chapter by chapter presentations on Daniel's prophecies.
The four-weekend seminar, led by Pastor Steve Allred, continues at 11 a.m. and 2:30 p.m. today. The presentations began Friday.
Admission is free.

Arbuckle
Chicken/ham dinner Feb. 24
Tickets are available for the annual Chicken/Ham Dinner sponsored by the congregation of the Arbuckle United Methodist Church.
Set from 5 to 7 p.m. Feb. 24 at the Arbuckle Fire Hall, the event includes homemade baked items, a fishing booth for children and a drawing for a quilt made by Barbara Peterson.
Tickets are $10 for adults and $4 for children 4 to 12 years, available at the door or in advance by contacting a member of the congregation.
Tickets are free for children 3 years and younger.
Yuba City
Crossroads stages comedy banquet
A family style dinner is part of the Crossroads Comedy Banquet at 7 p.m. Friday at Crossroads Community Church, 445 B St., Yuba City.
Reserved seat tickets are $10.
The evening also includes comedy skits and other entertainment.
The church is also hosting a free concert featuring the Crist Family at 7 p.m. Feb. 14.
