Summer Bible week events set

St. Andrew Presbyterian Church Summer Bible Week is set Sunday to Thursday at the church, 1390 Franklin Road, Yuba City. Classes meet from 5:29 to 8 p.m. each day and are open to participants ages 3 years and older.

Fees are $5 per person for the entire week and $20 per family. Nursery care is provided.

VBS session will include lunch

Lunch will be served during the Vacation Bible School at Mount Olivet Church, 2284 McGowan Parkway, Olivehurst. The program is Monday through Friday June 25 to July 6, with sessions from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. each day. Special speaker set at Crossroads

The Rev. Gilbert Davila is the featured speaker at 7 p.m. June 30 at Crossroads Community Church, 445 B St., Yuba City. A speaker for the Christian Brotherhood Spanish International radio program, Davila is also the national director for Hispanic Ministries. He and his wife are serving as pastors in Austin, Texas. Christian Science church sets VBS

The Christian Science Church in Yuba City is hosting Avalanche Ranch Vacation Bible School July 9 to 13. Classes meet from 9 a.m. to noon each day. The church is located at the corner of Brown and B streets.

Colusa
Presbyterians schedule VBS

Children ages 4 to 12 years are invited to “Avalanche Ranch: A Wild Ride Through God’s Word” Vacation Bible School at the First Presbyterian Church of Colusa.

Set from July 9 to 13, the program’s classes will meet from 9 a.m. to noon, with a Fiesta Finale at 11:45 a.m., each day at the church, Fourth and Jay streets.

Alfred Medina is the featured speaker at the next meeting of the Business Men’s Fellowship at Clark Avenue Coffees, 101 Clark Ave., in Yuba City. The meeting is at 8 a.m. July 14.

The Great Bible Reef Vacation Bible School is planned from July 30 to Aug. 3 at St. Isidore Catholic Church in Yuba City. Classes meet from 9 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. each day.
