Mary E. Panecaldo
Mary E. Panecaldo, 84, of Gridley died Jan. 27, 2006, at Summerfield Senior Care Center in Yuba City.
Born in Kirkman, Iowa, she was a longtime Mid-Valley resident.
She was a telephone operator at Pacific Bell for 28 years and she also worked at the family business, Old Roma Liquor Store in Gridley.
She graduated from high school in Hamilton City.
She was the captain of the Peach Tree Women's Golf Association in 1992.
Survivors include two daughters, Theresa Andrusyshyn of Yuba City and Cheryl Rosanbalm of Boise, Idaho; a son, Donald Colburn of Citrus Heights; one brother; six sisters; six grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband of more than 40 years, Bud Panecaldo.
Donations may be made to Summerfield Senior Care Center in Yuba City.
Services: A funeral service is scheduled at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Bidwell Chapel, 341 West Third St., Chico, preceded by visitation beginning at 1 p.m. Burial will be in Gridley-Biggs Cemetery
