Occupation: I’m a full-time grandma and I try to attend all of my grandchildren’s games in the area.
Hobbies, interests: In church, I check-in children before the services and I mentor in the Moms and Mentors program. I also help out in my grandchild’s classroom at Tierra Buena Elementary. I love to bake for my grandchildren. I like to scrapbook, I also volunteer for Fremont Medical Center’s Auxiliary working in the gift shops and as hours chairman and organize the awards ceremony. I also collect donations for “Operation Christmas Child.”
What brought you to the Yuba-Sutter area? Almost eight years ago I moved here to be closer to my daughter, Amy.

How long have you attended? Eight years
What is the importance of faith in your life? My faith and Jesus is what brings me my peace, my joy and my confidence in every situation I encounter.
How do you live out your faith? I begin my morning with prayer and pray throughout the day. I pray even as I drive; I pray for the schools I pass by and when I hear sirens, for the firemen and policemen. I’m always in prayer. I try to show everyone God’s grace and mercy as he has shown me. When I see a homeless person, even if I can’t give them money, I smile and wave.
