Engagement: Miller/Songer
Yuba City residents Becka Miller and Jon Songer plan to wed Nov. 10 at the Miners Foundry in Nevada City.
The bride-to-be, daughter of Kyle Miller and Cynthia Sharp of Yuba City, is a 2009 graduate of River Valley High School.
She received her associate’s degree in psychology from Yuba College and is working toward a bachelor’s degree in psychology from Brandman University.
She works for Tri-County Respite.
Her fiancé, the son of Linda Songer of Yuba City and Kirk Songer of Live Oak, graduated in 2008 from Faith Christian High School.
He is working toward an associate’s degree in business from Yuba College and is employed as a mechanic at Harvey and Songer in Linda.
He also works as a summer technician for Sutter-Yuba Mosquito and Vector Control in Yuba City.
