Wedding: Reimers/Murphy
Yuba City residents Natalie Anne Reimers and Shawn Patrick Murphy were married July 17 at the Church of Glad Tidings in Yuba City.
A reception was held at Peach Tree Golf and Country Club in Linda.
The bride, daughter of Larry and Beth Reimers of Yuba City, had her sister, Alison Hardebeck of Black Diamond, Wash., as matron of honor.
Bridesmaids were Noelle Bryan of Marysville, Alyssa Davey of Yuba City, Angelina Rolón of Chico and Kara Debie of Twin Falls, Idaho.
Attendants also included Jordan Poe of Kansas City, Mo., and Katrina Taylor of Sacramento; Madison Reimers of Yuba City as flower girl; the couple’s son, Elijah Murphy of Yuba City, as ring bearer; and Annie Reimers of Yuba City and Annalyse Johnson of Santa Barbara as candle lighters.
The bride is a 2004 graduate of Marysville Charter Academy for the Arts and completed her pre-requisites for nursing school at Yuba College in 2007. She works as a certified nursing assistant and monitor technician at Rideout Memorial Hospital and is pursuing a career as a registered nurse.
The groom, son of Lisa Fox of Yuba City and Patrick Murphy of Lincoln, had Christopher Carr of Monterey as best man.
Groomsmen were Joe Bryan of Marysville, Ryan Sawyer of Chico and Craig Contreras and Kenny Holeman, both of Woodland.
Ushers were Steven Hardebeck of Black Diamond, Wash., and the bride’s brother, Ian Reimers of San Diego.
The groom is a 2003 graduate of Woodland High School. He works as a painter for Austin Jones General Contracting.
The couple honeymooned in Cancún, Mexico.
