Wedding: Clay/Mattson

Jillian Michelle Clay of Arbuckle and Brad Wayne Mattson of Chico were married Feb. 23 at the First United Methodist Church in Marysville.

A reception followed at Peach Tree Golf and Country Club in Linda.

The bride, daughter of David and Debbie Clay of Arbuckle, had Kathy Sanbrook of San Francisco as matron of honor.

She also was attended by Fiona Hopper of Davis, Feliza Vera of Woodland, Lauren McKinney of Newport Beach as bridesmaids.

Attendants also included Heather Sims and Kelsey Sims, both of Yuba City, as junior bridesmaids; Alaina Sims of Yuba City and Bianca Callaway of Turlock as flower girls; and Matthew Reyna of Arbuckle as ring bearer.

The bride earned a bachelor's degree in marketing from Concordia University in Irvine.

The groom, son of Butch and Debbi Mattson of Richvale, had Donnie Thomas of Discovery Bay as best man.

Groomsmen were Seth Williams and Bill Wallace, both of Arbuckle, Erik Ehn of Patterson and the bride's brother, Nick Clay of Natomas.

The groom earned a bachelor's degree in agribusiness from California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo. He works as general manager of the Richvale Irrigation District and is a self-employed rice farmer.

The couple honeymooned in British Columbia. They plan to make a home in Chico.
