Letter: Weather cleanses environment

Comments 0 | Recommend 0

A new take and vision on weather, yet old as time.

Cold, hot, windy, calm, rain, snow, sleet, hail, howling winds.

Weather is always changing and therfore highly responsive to the thoughts, feelings and the needs of earth in terms of aliveness and balance.

Because of the malleable and reciprocal nature of weather, humans affect it and help determine its expressions more then they realize.

Weather responds to emotions and focused thoughts of areas and communities.

Frightening storms can spark emotional response, and there is also evidence that strong emotions have provoked a particular weather phenomena.

Extreme weather events have an unerring way of shaking down the walls of our worldview and hence our perceived security.

They fill us with awe - the kind of fear-inspired awe that can hurl us out of our comfort zone, away from the confines of our familiar preoccupations.

Listen to people who have just experienced a tornado or hurricane.

When things get out of balance and harmony, it's weather's job to cleanse the environment of negativity.
