Barbara M. Guzman

Barbara Montez Lange Guzman, 69, of Colusa died Dec. 31, 2005, at her residence.

Born in Mexico, she was a Mid-Valley resident for 43 years.

She was the owner/operator of a real estate investment business.

Survivors include her husband, Raphael Guzman of Colusa; four daughters, Rachel Soto Gomez of Colusa, Jennifer Lange Delgadillo of Williams, Elizabeth Soto Barker of Chico and Nancy Soto Cathey of Las Vegas, Nev.; a son, Manuel Soto of Williams; a stepson, Miguel Guzman of Farmersville; a stepdaughter Christina Guzman of Farmersville; four brothers, Ponciano Garza and Elfido Montez, both of Colusa, Toribio Garza of Shaftner and Antonio Montez of Mexico; 22 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

Services: Visitation is from 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday at McNary-Moore Chapel. A funeral service is scheduled at 10 a.m. Friday at Colusa Assembly of God Church, 1747 Highway 20, Colusa. Burial follows at Colusa Cemetery.
