Letter: Comcast alternatives considered

It's time to look seriously at alternatives to Comcast now that the company has decided to move TCM to a higher-priced programming tier. That is one-half of the uninterrupted movie channels they offer.

Comcast has initiated the "rate creep" in addition to moving desirable channels to higher-priced tiers. Any suggestions as to better-priced alternatives out there? AT&T, Dish, Direct TV, what else? How do others on a fixed income feel about this?
