Letter: Diaz will do right thing on school board

I am writing to encourage support for Angel Diaz for Yuba City Unified School Board.

His dedication to the families of the Yuba-Sutter area are unmatched as evidenced by his years of service and continued involvement in community organizations and activities, several of which assist students.

From the first time I met Angel, I found him to be friendly and quick to give a smile. He volunteers to help troubled youths and offers his positive encouragement and energy to those kids.

It has been my pleasure to have worked with Angel on several community events and projects. He is a "can-do" person who is always looking to get tangible results that benefit the community. He is a wonderful friend, father and grandfather and is very focused on the needs of kids.

Angel knows this community, understands the educational and financial needs of our community and would be a valuable asset to the Yuba City School Board. There is no doubt in my mind that he is ready to continue to do the right thing for our kids.
